Once there was a little girl named Pandora, she was a very beautiful girl and played all day like a little fairy in the woods. One day a big white blob of light came to her and gave her a very beautifully decorated box, and told her to guard the box well but not to open it. She tried and tried not to peep at the box, shake the box, or try to hear what was inside the box. She knew she shouldn’t open it but her curiosity took over and she wrenched the top off the box open. Out came all the diseases of humanity, and bad emotions came dancing out of the box, all except hope who was trapped in the box. Pandora closed the box. She was very ashamed of herself and set off to find the white blob she had seen. The blob told her to go and bury the box under the table with hope in it, where she had guarded the box. He told her to wait for all the sicknesses to go away and she would get a reward. Once the sicknesses were gone she had the honor of becoming the most beautiful and lovely Queen of the town. There she ruled the people well.
