I would not respond the same way that the ancient civilizations did to God’s messages and warnings. I would act upon them, just not in sin. I would act upon God’s messages and warnings because I believe in God, and would respond faithfully and obediently. I would not sin because sin is what leads us to guilt. I would not worship other Gods and deities. Lastly, I would never ever think that Gods word is a falsehood.
That is what I would do if I was in the position of the ancient people.
