A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court

A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court is a story in which a man named Hank, is pulled out of the 19th century and into the 6th century. He lands in the time of King Arthur and consequently meets him, but the King thinks he is an intruder. Hank tries to save himself by telling King Arthur and his court that it will soon seem like night in the middle of the day even though it is just a solar eclipse. The King and his court call him a “magician” and he earns himself the title of “The Boss”. He starts introducing roads, phones, newspapers, and many other things that Hank thinks will turn the 6th century into the 19th century. He obviously performs more “miracles” like making a long dry well flow again. He even marries a woman named Sandy and has a daughter named “Hello-Central”. Everything is going well until Hello-Central falls ill. The disease is deadly and spreads across the country rapidly. Hank and his family travel to a bunker, but on the way there he goes back to his time.
