Gisella's School

The Peloponnesian wars was a series of wars between Athens and Sparta in Greece. This led to the decline of Greece, and the rise of Persia. Athens at first had the upper hand, but later Sparta was the winner of the last war which made Athens collapse. Years later Persia led the whole Greek Empire down. The Peloponnesian wars was a very long set of wars so much so that it was divided into three parts that divided by years. The Peloponnesian wars really were the thing that brought Greece down. Their division made them fall to let a new Empire, Persia takeover.
